Fresh from the oven, ShaSha Co. was ready to Celebrate and Demonstrate with baker toques, aprons, sparkling wigs, red heart-shaped balloons, and a lot of wiggling and shaking! We let our hair down on Canada Day in front of more than a million spectators for the third consecutive year in a row. And we’re proud to say that we have never had a more creative and energetic group of people to celebrate with us! Many thanks to the sizzling “bakers” who erupted a tidal wave of love, support and energy. We had a blast!
Our animated bakers and dancers showed the love, tossing yummy pink packaged ginger snaps to the crowd while President and CEO Shasha Navazesh kept participants and spectators cool with vanilla infused mist. He actually used the same organic vanilla extract used to make the raw, vegan and gluten-free, buckwheat snacks!
A powerful culinary extract, vanilla has many health benefits. Considered a popular scent for aromatherapy, vanilla has been known to alleviate anxiety and stress. It also settles the stomach, reducing nausea, and has high levels of anti-oxidants that reduce potentially harmful materials from our body. And we thought it was just an aphrodisiac! 😉
